NorthropGrumman Space Systems (NGSP) is looking for you to join our team as a SustainmentEngineer based out of Colorado Springs, CO.

What Youll get to Do:

Theposition requires a strong sustainment background with the ability to performplanning, implementation, and tracking of logistics activities with extensiveexperience in supply systems and procedures. The candidate will performactivities such as reconciling trouble ticket and service request data acrossmultiple sites, establishing maintenance procedures; processing RMAs;evaluating systems spares posture and identifying discrepancies, analyzingfailure trends, and evaluating current sustainment processes and recommendingimprovements. This position requires coordinating closely across functionalareas on the National Team, as well as the government counterparts at theMissile Defense Agency (MDA). The candidate should have a strong workingknowledge of DoD Command and Control, C4I, or weapon systems deployment andlogistics/sustainment processes. Candidates are subject to a governmentsecurity investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access toclassified information.

Recentexperience creating or resolving trouble tickets, service requests, and workorders for a large networked computer system. Recent experience working avariety of sustainment/logistics topics such as sparing analysis, sustainmentprocess updates, creating logistics support plans, etc. Understanding theunique nature of supporting remote sites and deployable assets management isrequired. Experience with direct vendor interaction for Return MaterialAuthorizations. Experience with Juniper Hardware maintenance is desired. Rootcause analysis facilitation experience is a plus.

Occasionaltravel might be required for this position including support to Schriever AFB.

Qualification

Basic Qualifications:

* An active Secret clearance is required.
* 10 Years with Bachelors degree in a STEM-related field; 14 years experience in lieu of a degree.
* Recent experience creating or resolving trouble tickets, service requests, and work orders for a large networked computer system.
* Recent experience working a variety of sustainment/logistics topics such as sparing analysis, sustainment process updates, creating logistics support plans, etc.
* Self-starter, demonstrated interpersonal communications skills, able to work with minimal supervision, ability to multi-task, experience with fielding to international sites.
* This position requires the determination of detailed requirements for all logistics elements to include manpower, facilities, equipment and supplies (to include the procurement, storage, maintenance and utilization of material).
