The Analyst, Group Admin role handles Nationwide Small Market/Invoice group accounts. Each Analyst owns a book of business of direct clients which consist of Monthly Deduction Notification Reports, Monthly Invoices, data verification, interfacing with clients/brokers/sales, process management, change management, and highly skilled critical thinking. Each Analyst must manage several standard work and communication processes, delinquency, payment management, and process challenges daily. In supporting the Nationwides clients, each Analyst participates in client meetings, regular daily emails, and phone calls in order to keep relationships and resolve issues as needed. The Analyst is a vital connection between Sales and the Group/Brokers.

RELATIONSHIP: Reports to Supervisor
CORE JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Serves as a primary liaison between medium to high level producing groups/companies and VPI. Analyzes billing and remittance data coming into VPI as well as going back to company. Uses critical thinking skills to identify system issues, process efficiencies and assists with the development of corrections/fixes. Provides program efficacy analysis for clients including participation, claims utilization etc.
2. Verifies and posts details of business transactions including funds received and disbursed, new policies, and cancellation changes. Tracks all pertinent information regarding group statistics as required by group contracts and VPI.
3. Responsible for timely responses to policyholder inquiries, including but not limited to changing payment information and other miscellaneous endorsements. Processes and resolves dispute/complaint information from a variety of sources, including web, email, workflows, faxes and calls, providing a high level of customer service both to both internal and external customers.
4. Verifies all assigned groups cash is received into the department, and totals accounts to ledgers or computer spreadsheets and databases. Performs audit and resolution of delinquent premium for assigned accounts as well as reconciling premium paid to VPI.
5. Responsible for transmission and encryption formats, file structure and schedule, manual invoicing and deduction notifications, eligibility information and all other payroll deduction processes.
6. Perform other duties as assigned by management, including but not limited to: documentation and maintenance of business process flows as well as desk instructions for this position.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High school studies; undergraduate studies in Finance, Business, or related field is preferred.
Experience: Typically 2-3 years of accounts receivable, billing, general accounting, or related experience in the insurance, banking, or finance industry.
Knowledge: Bookkeeping, Customer Service, Collections, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Insurance
Skills/Competencies: The candidate must have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos as well as business correspondence. Have the ability to effectively present information to policyholders, applicants, management, small groups, group contacts and other employees of the organization. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Have the ability to compute rate, ratios, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Have the ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations with moderate oversight. Possess intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel. Microsoft Access a plus. Have the ability to type a minimum of 30 WPM.
