This position is for a Software Engineer to support Unit Integration & Test (UIT) of software products for the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD-Launcher) Ground Component. This effort includes unit integration and test of Launcher software. Candidate must have a good understanding of software test practices. Candidate will perform UIT tasks, including the development of UIT procedures, performance of UIT tests and documentation of UIT test results. Candidate will perform tasks in accordance with program and Lockheed Martin software command media. The candidate must coordinate with other groups within Ground Systems to ensure a successful test of the software. The candidate must ensure adherence to master plans and schedules. Candidate will be responsible for testing existing and new capabilities as required. This position will occasionally requires development of test schedules, planning resources and maintaining test equipment readiness.

Final Secret clearance is required prior to starting employment.
Basic Qualifications:
-Candidate must have a good understanding of software development practices

-Candidate must have experience using C++ for development of applications based on defined requirements

Desired Skills:
-Familiar with THAAD system.
-Familiar with embedded systems
-Familiar with Missile Defense Agency
-Experience with GNU C/C++ compilers, WindRiver Workbench, VxWorks, ORBexpress C++ CORBA, ClearCase, DOORS, Rhapsody, or Eclipse IDE.
