If you are a Business or Engineering student looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Marshalltown, IA location, you will have the opportunity to experience a breadth of assignments working closely with teams across the business.
You will make an impact on the business as well as continue to build your analytical and technical skills. You will be a contributing member of the team and gain hands-on experience with cutting edge technology. Additionally, you will work on the development of reporting tools and process improvements. You will be key to helping transform the organization by utilizing a wholistic approach to Intelligent Automation.
AS an Intelligent Automation Co-op, YOU WILL:
* Participate in and lead projects to create efficiencies or improvements in existing department responsibilities
* Lead Opportunity Assessments, create Process Definition Documentation, and support testing as required
* Work with process owners to understand and map out their processes
* Leverage the tools available to convert manual processes into automated processes
* Design Blue Prism Robotic Process Automation solutions
* Design and implement Power BI automation
* Utilize the full functionality of Microsoft Office 365
* Build new query reports to facilitate automation and improve data integrity
* Engage in change management
* Train process owners on use of the new process and corresponding tools
* Other duties, as assigned

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
* Business or Engineering majors will be considered
* Junior or Senior level status
* Aptitude and interest in tools and processes listed above is a plus
* Should have strong communication/survey, process improvement, flow-charting and process engineering skills
* Attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and prioritize are all essential to this position
* Aptitude for learning software programs quickly
* Aptitude for visual puzzle solving is necessary
* Proficient with Microsoft Office products
* An excitement for the unknown and continual learning
* GPA: 3.2 or higher
