Caution against fraudulent job offers!
We have been informed of instances where jobseekers are led to believe of fictitious job opportunities with Deloitte US (Deloitte). In one or more such cases, false promises of actual or potential selection, or initiation or completion of the recruitment formalities appear to have been or are being made. Some jobseekers appear to have been asked to pay money to specified bank accounts of individuals or entities as a condition of their selection for a job with Deloitte. These individuals or entities are in no way connected with Deloitte and do not represent or otherwise act on behalf of Deloitte.
We would like to clarify that:
* At Deloitte, ethics and integrity are fundamental and not negotiable.
* We are against corruption and neither offer bribes nor accept them, nor induce or permit any other party to make or receive bribes on our behalf.
* We have not authorized any party or person to collect any money from jobseekers in any form whatsoever for promises of getting jobs in Deloitte.

Work you'll do
Deloitte Innovations & Platforms is looking for a Senior Manager Level individual who will recruit, retain, mentor and lead a global team of technology architects and experts. You will be a technology thought leader, partnering with senior market facing stakeholders from the Offering Portfolios to understand their strategies and business cases, translating them into innovative technical architectures and guiding them in developing assets for their respective markets. You will work with other departments leaders within the Innovations & Platforms organization to collectively help realize Consulting's asset strategy and efficiently build and operate assets.
You will shape and deliver on our asset strategy by performing the following tasks:
* Lead and coach a team of US and USI based architects (currently 25 but will grow). Coordinate and oversee all priorities and activities related to architecture deliverables and outcomes.
* Recommend, implement, and maintain the Consulting Reference Architecture.
* Work with and advise Industry and OP Asset Leaders on their asset strategy and asset portfolios. This would include leading technical workshops and conducting technical evaluations as needed
* Develop a strong connection with the Consulting Lead Architect to support initiatives, provide expertise when needed, and rollout the Consulting Reference Architecture.
* Participate in NBI Business Architecture facilitated technology labs when needed.
* At the project level, provide leadership to resources to understand the big picture, business requirements and priorities. Support team members in their ability to translate this into architectural and technical design options.
* Conduct technical evaluations of emerging technologies, start-ups, vendors and existing firm assets and provide recommendations that optimally support business and architectural goals.
* Oversee efforts to hire and retain the right talent to support business and technical needs.
* Partner with leaders across Product Management, Engineering, and Infrastructure and provide best practices to improve asset build and operate tools and processes.
* Be a sounding board and a technical advisor for NBI leaders on strategic priorities for the organization.
* Keep yourself and your team up to date regarding technology and industry trends. Proactively share insights / trends with stakeholders and the wider architecture community in Deloitte through whitepapers, info-sessions, etc.
Required:
* Bachelors in Computer Science, Information Technology or a similar field.
* 12+ years of technology experience in an enterprise or web scale product company.
* 5+ years of leadership experience either for architecture or software engineering teams. Ability to effectively lead, empower, mentor and inspire teams.
* Thorough understanding of architecture design principles and best practice through building Product/Platforms.
* Excellent communication and analytic skills. Comfortable in communicating with various levels of stakeholders, including executives, peers, and technical architects.
* Proven track record of successfully delivering commercial enterprise cloud-based software solutions.
* Deep experience in designing and building distributed applications on cloud platforms using cloud native technologies (e.g., container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, Python, JavaScript, etc.).
* Solid experience with SDLC and DevOps practices.
Preferred:
* General business knowledge in a domain / industry (e.g. demand planning / forecasting, financials, etc.).
* Knowledge of Machine learning, automation and RPA tools.
* Architecture certifications in one or more leading cloud provider platforms (e.g. AWS / GCP / Azure).
*Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
