Position Summary: The facilities technician-2 will perform routine preventative maintenance and troubleshooting/repair activities on industrial technologies to include HVAC, basic industrial electrical (480V systems), plumbing, vacuum systems, material delivery equipment and industrial utilities. Candidate will have ability to perform/assist with new equipment install and qualification. Ability to prioritize assigned work based upon criticality and production requirements. This is a third shift position (10pm-630am) but ability to work all shifts including weekends based upon staffing requirements and production needs.
Essential Job Responsibilities: ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work Safely in an Industrial Environment and comply with all regulatory and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Daily review of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and execution of assigned PM and repair work orders based upon criticality and scheduling requirements.
Performs and/or participates in all Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), equipment, building and regulatory inspections as required.
Performs assigned repairs in a timely and safe manner utilizing vendors, proper tools, equipment and parts.
Assists in the periodic review and adjustment of operational and Preventative Maintenance SOPs.
Assists with equipment and/or support equipment installations and setups as assigned.
Ability to read/interpret blueprints, schematics and drawings.
Ability to utilize/interpret precision measurement tools.
Performs basic construction projects as directed.
Update of skills with internal company and external vendor provided trainings.
Participates in rotating on-call duties.

Minimum Requirements:
* High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
* 2 years experience in Industrial Technologies
* Uses communication skills in the exchange of information
* Recognizes and solves typical problems that can occur in own work area without supervisory approval; evaluates and selects solutions from established operating procedures and/or scientific methods
* Values Teamwork
* Applies experience and skills to complete assigned work within an established scope of work
* Works within standard operating procedures
* Candidates must be able to work safely from heights
* Lift 50lbs repeatably.
Preferred Requirements (optional): Associates Degree (or equivalent), Electrical certifications, Welding Certifications, Pipe Fitting, OSHA10, HVAC Certifications, PLC or Automation experience.
