Weyerhaeuser's Wood Products Supply Chain Organization is seeking a motivated, supply chain focused individual to join our team. This position reports to the WP Supply Chain manager, in our Seattle, WA location. The successful candidate will provide supply chain expertise while building strong working relationships with customer service, manufacturing, sales and suppliers. Key Responsibilities:
* Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
* Weekly coordination and management of product mix for customer orders to support the planning and weekly production schedule with our mills
* Responsible for understanding the sales and operations planning (S&OP), mill inventory, production levels to ensure timely delivery of our sales order file volume
* Works collaboratively with mills to confirm inventory, production, shipping; communicate any issues to sales and customer service
* Maintain daily/weekly systems to manage supply and demand balancing
* Reconcile performance of previous week and balance the impact as it relates to future weeks; supply, demand, inventory, and transportation
* Closely monitors system to ensure that we deliver on key supply chain performance metrics
Qualifications
* 3 years experience in supply chain management or related field
* Experience working with manufacturing and knowledge of building materials industry a plus
* Experience working in a team environment
* Experience using an enterprise planning system
* MS Excel software, databases and product knowledge
* Demonstrated leadership capabilities
* Excellent business communication skills
* Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred
