As a member of the Intel Validation Engineering Group youll play an active role in validation and debug to ensure our products meet the highest quality standards before they reach our customers hands.

In this position you will be responsible for:

* Creates, defines and develops system validation environment and test suites

* Uses and applies emulation and platform level tools and techniques to ensure performance to specifications

* Requires broad understanding of multiple system areas and requires interfaces with architecture, design and pre-silicon validation teams in improving post-silicon test content

* Provides feedback for future on-die debug features

* Responsible for the development of methodologies, execution of validation plans and debug of failures

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of experience -OR- a Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent with 4+ years of experience in:

* Design, verification or validation disciplines, system/platform level debug and root cause isolation, methodology and tools Hardware, System and/or microprocessor validation

* CPU micro-architecture and/or high-speed bus protocol skills

* Debug and complex problem-solving skills

* Python Scripting or similar relevant skill

Preferred Qualifications:

* Post-silicon validation with a focus on voltage regulators

* Intel architecture and/or Intel chipset experience

* Test automation frameworks

* Linux OS, Windows OS
