Job Description
Intel Machine Learning Performance team is looking for software development engineer to work in new exciting area of deep learning. In this role you will be responsible for development and maintenance of oneDNN , an open source performance library providing highly vectorized and threaded building blocks for deep learning applications. The scope of work includes development of new features and algorithms optimized for Intel and Intel-compatible architectures, performance optimization for current and future Intel architectures including assembly level programming and parallelization.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school-work/ classes/ research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelors with 3+ years or Masters with 1+ years of experience in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Computational Science or Mechanics, Mechanical engineering or other related discipline
* 2+ years experience in the following areas:
* Mathematics, preferably linear algebra solvers, matrix-vector operations, and Fast Fourier Transforms
* Algorithms and data structures
* C and C++
* Software development on Linux
* Low level optimizations for Intel Architecture processors, OpenCL, SYCL/DPC++, C for Metal or CUDA
* Parallel programming (OpenMP, TBB, or MPI
Preferred Qualifications:
* Knowledge of x86 instruction set architecture and Advanced Vector Extensions (AVX)
* Experience with vectorization and parallel programming models such as OpenMP and/or SYCL and/or GPU programming
