Manufacturing technicians in Assembly and Test Technology Development (ATTD) are expected to:

* Perform functions associated with all assembly and wafer production including operations, equipment, process, and training.
* Collect and evaluate operating data to perform basic operations and ensure process optimization.
* Be responsible for running lots in a qualitative way.
* Be responsible for setting up equipment and process to run tool monitors and production.
* Manage improvement processes, troubleshoot nonstandard events in the production line, and review tool health and stability.
* Read and understand process specifications and be able to use factory systems to make decisions on production operations.
* Prepare and deliver pass down to the next shift in current factory systems.
* Be familiar with the training and certification process, and drive to maximum certification in the required timeline.
* Have willingness to support engineering development activity during tool time.
* Be familiar with and apply continuous improvement with regards to safety, quality, and lean principles.

Additionally, in this role:

* Work is somewhat complex and is performed within the spectrum ranging from narrowly defined parameters and limited judgment up to complex and nonstandard assignments in nature and broadly defined parameters.
* Judgment and initiative are required in resolving complex nonstandard problems and developing recommendations.
* Normally receives general instructions on routine work, and detailed instructions on new work.

The candidate should also exhibit the following behavioral traits and/or skills:

* Verbal and written communication skills.

This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.

Qualifications

You must possess the below requirements to be initially considered for this position.

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Experience listed below would be obtained through schoolwork and/or classes and/or project work and/or internships and/or military training and/or work experience.

Requirements

* Possess an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) technical degree, or a bachelors degree of any kind or relevant manufacturing experience (2+ years) or equivalent military training will be considered as an alternative criteria in lieu of the education.
* End user computer skills and navigation, including use of Microsoft Office applications.

Candidate must be willing to:

* Lift up to 25+ pounds, and spend the majority of time on the floor working on the tool, walking 3+ miles a day, and standing or sitting for 9+ hours per day.
* Work in a clean room environment, wearing a bunny suit, hood, booties, safety glasses, and gloves.
* There may be additional safety PPE required (masks, face shields, etc).
* Work a compressed day shift schedule.
* The shift is twelve hours long, and rotates from three to four days a week.
