Job Description
Xeon Performance Group XPG leadership team is looking for a Senior SoC Validation Manager with prior SoC or IP pre-silicon Validation experience to join our organization This individual will be responsible for managing SoC Validation and driving overall Validation scope and product quality of Xeon server programs, working with Val COEs and other partner organizations. This will include driving validation strategy, test plans, content development and execution, improving coverage to deliver high quality SoC Tape-In and PRQ. You will be working with other managers and tech leads within XPG and other partner organizations to drive overall plans and convergence. This candidate would be expected to effectively interface and influence architects, micro architects and pre silicon simulation and emulation teams and post silicon validation partner teams. We also expect this candidate to define new and innovative strategies to shift left and find HW, FW bugs faster and prior to Tape In, minimizing any escapes into post si. The candidate should have a proven track record of delivering exceptional results on prior programs (preferably on Xeon servers). Plans, provides resources for and directs activities in engineering function to meet schedules, standards, and cost. Cultivates and reinforces appropriate group values, norms and behaviors. Identifies and analyzes problems, plans, tasks, and solutions. Provides guidance on employee development, performance, and productivity issues. Plans and schedules daily tasks, uses judgement on a variety of problems requiring deviation from standard practices. Inadequacies and erroneous decisions would cause moderate inconvenience and expense.
Qualifications
