RTD (Rio Rancho Technology Development) in Rio Rancho, New Mexico is Data Platform Group's Process Technology Development Organization focusing on Optane Technology Development. To deliver the silicon technology, RTD is looking for experienced CVD/ALD (Chemical Vapor Deposition/ Atomic layer deposition) Technology Development Process Engineers.

As a CVD/ALD Technology Development Process Engineer, you will be responsible for the following:

* Development and sustaining of CVD/ALD processes for next generation memory technology development and transfer to high volume manufacturing.
* Develop CVD/ALD processes that meet quality, reliability, cost, yield, productivity and manufacturability requirements for HVM.
* Plan and conduct experiments to fully characterize CVD/ALD processes throughout the development cycle.
* Work closely with process integration, device, and the other unit process areas to define the CVD/ALD process technology roadmap and turn that roadmap into reality.
* Engage closely with tool vendors for process development and sustaining issues. Drive escalations and ensure resolution to any process and/or equipment problems.
* Establish process control systems to meet key quality metrics.
* Define and maintain procedures and RFC's for the module.
* Train production/receiving process engineers, engineering and manufacturing technicians for transfer to other factories.

Qualifications

Minimum Required Qualifications:

One of the following:

* PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Physics, Chemistry or related field with 2+ years of process engineering experience in the semiconductor industry.
* Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Physics, Chemistry or related field with 4+ years of process engineering experience in the semiconductor industry.
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Physics, Chemistry or related field with 6+ years of process engineering experience in the semiconductor industry.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

* 5+ years process engineering experience in PECVD, PEALD, and/or CVD metals in the semiconductor industry.
* Familiarity with multiple characterization techniques including, but not limited to XSEM, TEM, STEM, XPS, VPD, TXRF, and EELS.
