Summary:
This role is responsible for approximately $120 million in direct sales volume. Successful people leader who will direct a team of 10 Customer Sales executives, while working cross functionally with support teams such as Category Management, Finance, Shopper Insights, Supply Chain, Sales Planning, and Retail Excellence. Ensure optimal utilization and execution of sales programs and account funding with national & regional customers. Develop strategic relationships with key customer decision makers. Establish and communicate priorities and strategic direction for the Northeast Area C-Store organization.
Responsibilities:
Create and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve business objectives.
Leverage position to achieve significant level of account penetration to deliver results.
Effectively utilize the company's analytical tools (e.g. MSA, IRI, PlanEx, High Radius and Category Management tools) and processes to drive profitable sales results.
Complete Market research and analyze results to adjust sales and Marketing strategy to maximize results
Ensure trade program funds are allocated appropriately to achieve retail objectives, while optimizing profitability.
Select, coach and develop 10 CSEs through effective implementation of the company's staffing, training, and performance management models.
Develop, communicate and evaluate Retail execution strategies
Manage P&L to include Several Million $s in Trade & SGA budgets
Inspire team engagement through high level of connectivity
Travel: 70 80%
Minimum Education: Bachelors degree
Minimum Experience: 10 15 years, Previous experience in sales role with the demonstrated ability to lead and develop talent to meet or exceed targets while fueling the organization with talent.
