TRANSACTION BANKING
We aim to build a modern and digital-first transaction banking solution to serve our clients. The role involves working closely with our internal engineering and product teams to evolve existing offerings as well as bring new ones to life. We are looking for a solution architect with deep subject matter expertise in the transaction banking business and strong technical skills. The work starts with developing an end to end solution that addresses our clients needs by leveraging our capabilities. The role requires a good understanding of the transaction banking business, our platform and clients needs. It also requires excellent oral and written communication and the ability to convey complex solutions to clients and internal stakeholders. To a large extend, our solution engineers are representing the clients to all internal teams and play an integral role in influencing our product strategy at all levels. The successful candidate needs to be comfortable owning open-ended problems and collaboratively lead their resolution. Solution Architects lead the post-sale activities by becoming the main client contact for all integration matters. That requires strong technical skills to advice clients on security, connectivity, data exchange protocols as well as help them troubleshoot integration issues. It requires liaising with internal engineering teams and providing the right level of information to effectively address client queries. Solution Architects work closely with our Client Implementation team to ensure the smooth execution of client onboarding.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
* Manage multiple projects and clients at the same time, ability to prioritize efficiently
* Design end to end solutions for clients looking to leverage transaction banking products
* Excellent communication skills, comfortable explaining complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Collaborate with global cross functional teams to build customer-centric solutions
* Establish strong cross-divisional partnerships
* The ideal candidate is passionate about transaction banking, technology and engineering
* Candidates must have exceptional ability to apply knowledge and experience in decision-making to arrive at creative and commercial solutions
* Candidate are expected to be independent and comfortable in a fast paced, ambiguous and often multi-directional work environment
* Ability to drive revenue opportunities for TxB products across client base as well as client strategy
* Contribute to business marketing and communication strategy and planning
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR
* Minimum of 4-7 years of relevant professional experience
* S. or higher in Computer Science or Engineering (or equivalent work experience)
* 2+ years of experience in Transaction Banking or equivalent
* 3+ years of experience in a software development role
* Strong understanding of software architecture
* Comfortable with Agile operating models
* Team oriented
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Energetic, self-directed, and self-motivated
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in a Solution Architect role or equivalent
* Experience with micro service architectures (SOA)
* Experience with RESTful APIs
* Experience with Payments systems (understanding of the various payment networks)
