Within Global Markets Division (GMD) the Structured Finance & Lending (SFL) teams focus has been to create Structured Lending Platform as part of the GS Marquee strategy which covers a wide spectrum of asset classes such as Loans, Repurchase Agreements (Repos), Asset-Backed Securities and Derivatives.
We are seeking an experienced product manager to set the strategy and direction for Structured Lending Platform. As a product manager of Structured Lending Platform, you will use your domain experience and product knowledge to ensure exceptional experience for our clients by building value. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with the Structured Lending businesses, Engineers, Designers and various cross functional teams to deliver solutions.
* Understand financial markets, customer needs, competitive environment in depth.
* Identify market opportunities and build business case for new features, products and revenue streams.
* Define product vision for Structured Lending businesses and communicate that product vision to internal and external clients.
* Prioritize potential initiatives by understanding alignment with business strategy and value generated for current and future clients.
* Launch products in coordination with senior stakeholders, engineers, designers, marketing, sales, legal, compliance, operations and support.
* Identify, collect and analyze metrics to measure product success.
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelors Degree with 7+ years of work experience, or Masters Degree with more than 5+ year work experience in Product Management.
* Experience creating product roadmaps from concept to launch, driving product vision, defining to-to-market strategy and leading design discussions.
* Excellent Analytical and Communication skills including experience speaking to technical and business audiences and working globally.
* Knowledge of multiple functional areas, including product management, engineering, UX/UI sales, customer support, finance or marketing.
* Ability to achieve strategic goals and evolve product strategy based on research, data and industry trends in an innovative and fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
* MBA, Masters or equivalent professional experience.
* Experience balancing product priorities against budget and timelines.
* Ability to set and drive big picture strategy while also providing detailed guidance on individual projects.
* Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment.
