Our TSS Applications group is looking for an experienced technical editor with experience in working in a cross-functional team and having experience developing, editing, and producing technical and graphical documentation for a variety of technical systems and platforms.

As typical day in the life of a Technical Editor with GDIT include:
* Developing process flows to capture As Is state to look for inefficiencies, bottlenecks or redundancies.
* Developing process flows to identify To Be state for new customers to assist defining work to be performed.
* and standard operating procedures for TSS projects with project leads and management.
* Utilizing SharePoint to manage team activities
* Updating legacy documentation into current SOPs with SMEs and management.
* Creating, updating, and managing SharePoint sites as well as document libraries.
* Creating and editing technical content for TSS customers
* Creating OLA, SOW documentation or process flow diagrams

Required Skills
* BA/BS or equivalent years of experience
* 2 or more years of technical experience
* Experience writing operating procedure documents, knowledge based articles, SLA, SOW or process flow diagrams (Visio- or similar process/diagram mapping software)
* Experience with managing multiple tasks
* Excellent communication and customer interface experience
* Familiarity with a diverse range of software and systems (Ex. Cyber Solutions, Amazon Web Services, etc...)

Preferred Qualifications
* Knowledge of Agile methodology is desired
* Knowledge of ServiceNow is desired
* Experience with SharePoint repositories and creating and managing workflows

Additional Information
* Role may require some travel

The likely salary range for this position is $53,600 - $80,400, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
