Job Description

Southwest Convenience Stores is seeking candidates for the position of Maintenance Technician to assist operations of our Business Units located in the Midland/Odessa area. In this role, the Technician supports our stores by ensuring all equipment in our C-stores are functioning properly. The Technician will repair and replace equipment as necessary and will commute to stores on an as needed basis depending on level of emergency.

Essential Functions:

* High priority to ensure equipment functionality with responsibility for production and quality along with general building maintenance.
* Constant Monitoring all systems during operations.
* Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
* Assist in the installation on new packaging lines.
* Repairs and replaces defective parts and set up of necessary C-store equipment
* Interface with service vendors, maintain parts inventory for departments.
* Monthly card reader cleaning, attention to detail to review production schedule and when equipment is not running do maintenance.
* Must maintain cleanliness of company maintenance vehicle and adhere to all policy regarding such.
* Complete documentation of service for recordkeeping.
* Must be well organized with records to identify upcoming service needed C-Store equipment.
* Must represent our company in a professional manner when interacting with fellow employees, customers and vendors.
* Excellent communication skills

Organizational Leveling:
Requires skills developed through formal training or work experience. Works within established procedures and guidelines with limited ability to modify approach. Completes assigned tasks with a moderate degree of supervision.
