Position Summary

This position is responsible for supporting and implementing the projects, tools, and reports developed within the eCommerce team for our pure play and omnichannel business across beer, wine & spirits. Responsibilities include the development of consumer-led and retailer-focused analytical reporting, executive presentations, and partnering in cross-functional initiatives. Support in the planning, executing and coordinating of the eCommerce teams Annual Business Plan. The role will be project-oriented with responsibilities on normal reporting and primarily function as an internal consultant with a very strong understanding of Microsoft Office tools, IQ database & IRI data resources. Individual will work cross functionally with the eCommerce Marketing & Catalog Management team members to accomplish set sales goals and identify emerging opportunities for Constellation to maintain Total Beverage Alcohol (TBA) category leadership. They will also support the story telling & retailer/wholesaler engagement necessary to allow CBI to drive sales performance in the marketplace. Individual will report directly to Director of Sales & Category Management of eCommerce.

Responsibilities

Sales

* Support the eCommerce Sales & Category Management team with the accounts assigned to them; eCommerce retailers include but are not limited to Amazon, Wine.com and goPuff; omnichannel retailers include but are not limited to Walmart.com, Kroger.com and TotalWine.com; third-party marketplaces include but are not limited to Instacart, Drizly and Minibar

* Create reporting tools & story telling situational sell-in materials for our pure play eCommerce retailers with direct interaction through the support of the manager

* Establish direct working relationships with our major wholesaler partners through consistent eCommerce team touch base meetings, reporting on scorecards & building thought-leadership collaboration with the support of their manager

* Delivers all eCommerce data reporting processes with accuracy and efficiency within established timeframes using IRI, IQ and other data syndication data information, category management, pricing & program, shelf and assortment analyses.

* Develop and manage eCommerce account hierarchy within IQ using the Profisee Data Management system. Acts as IQ point of contact / subject matter expect for any questions or issues that may arise from the broader eCommerce team.

* Support the development, selling and post-program reporting/analyses of custom created promotional eCommerce programs including leveraging enhanced product details page content, site placement, product bundling and internal search.

* Analyze and interpret syndicated sales data to create impactful data points and identify opportunities for use in professional sales presentations for account business reviews and sales calls.

* Advocate and evangelize emerging digital, technology and shopping trends with internal Constellation Brands peers

* Propel Constellations TBA leadership reputation with internal and external stakeholders

* Analyze and share objective TBA assortment, merchandising and catalog recommendations to team members for the balancing of eCommerce extended aisle capabilities with curated, consumer-led assortments.

* Work with eCommerce team members to assist them with analysis and understanding of their TBA business to meet retailers goals and CBI strategy and goals.

* Proactively develop, maintain & communicate reports and scorecards that will help grow our business as well as the accounts business.

* Partner with eCommerce Catalog Management and Operations team to ensure Constellation assortment is accurately represented and managed on account eCommerce sites (digital shelf management) in areas of keywords, onsite search optimization, product images and taxonomy. Role will include developing scalable workflow for new item setup and item maintenance.

* Partner with eCommerce Marketing & Business Development team to identify and optimize promotional/marketing/business development opportunities

* Manage and contribute to various cross-functional projects that focus on driving service and sales performance.

eCommerce Partnership

* Partner with eCommerce Catalog Management and Operations team to ensure Constellation assortment is accurately represented and managed on account eCommerce sites (digital shelf management) in areas of keywords, onsite search optimization, product images and taxonomy. Role will include developing scalable workflow for new item setup and item maintenance.

* Partner with eCommerce Marketing team to develop account/customer-specific promotional calendars & identify and optimize promotional/marketing/business development opportunities

* Partner with eCommerce Category Advisor team to develop digital-first insights, category leadership tools & resources for our retailers, wholesalers & internal teams

* Manage and contribute to various cross-functional projects that focus on driving service and sales performance.

Minimum Qualifications

* A Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent job experience.

* A minimum of two or more years sales experience in the consumer-packaged goods industry.

* A minimum of two years experience supporting On or Off-Premise chain retailers.

* Consumer products, beverage or food industry experience

* A strong understanding of category management is required.

* Proven track record in building good relationships with retail customers, internal associates and wholesalers.

* Demonstrated ability to take the initiative to gather and use customer feedback to identify customer and market needs and challenges.

* Demonstrated diligence and ability to follow through on all commitments (internal and external stakeholders).

* Excellent written and oral communication skills and must be able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.

* Demonstrated ability to achieve performance goals with a minimum of direction.

* Proven analytical skills and understanding of syndicated data and its applicability to beverage alcohol categories is required.

* Computer literacy with the ability to learn and use various software including Microsoft Office.

* Excellent skills with Excel and PowerPoint required

* Demonstrated technical skills required for the preparation of professional and effective sales presentations.

Preferred Qualifications

* Sales experience in the beverage alcohol industry strongly preferred

* Work experience in eCommerce/Digital Commerce
