Position Summary
The Manager of Quality Management Systems (QMS) will be responsible for the overall mapping, design, development, implementation, and optimization of the Manufacturing Systems applications pertaining to the Quality area of our Mexico breweries with connections to our distribution network. This manager will be responsible for the entire project life cycle from conception through commissioning. The manager will be responsible for planning and execution of all projects to achieve and maintain solutions that provide value add solution for the manufacturing, manufacturing services, and quality teams. The manager must be a forward thinker who plans for potential future operational and application life cycle changes. The Key areas of focus for this manager will be Glass Inspection systems (Tiama IQ Scan), Track and Trace (Siemens Trusted Traceability), Keg Inspection Application (Rotech Keg), and potential future Quality Management Systems such as Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and mobile paperless workflow applications. The manager must have a strong sense of technology & automation and leverage those skills to achieve seamless integrations with the brewerys overall supply chain system.
Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Specification Management (40%)
* Responsible for the management and prioritization of all Beer Division Quality Manufacturing Systems Projects and Initiatives, from R&D to implementation.
* Responsible for the timely development and maintenance of all information relating to Quality Management System projects including, project definition, development, project planning, implementation & operating standards, specifications and procedures.
* Identify quality application initiatives to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the business.
* Review and understand new quality application innovations and processes.
Implementation & Operations (60%)
* Review Quality Management System performance and KPIs.
* Responsible for integration of new automated quality inspection systems of inbound glass bottles, complete supply chain end to end traceability relative to quality management data.
* Identify opportunities for increased efficiency, reduced maintenance resources, and higher systems reliability.
* Responsible for defining new systems administration functions including user provisioning, patching policy, and other governance policies to be applied to quality applications.
* Responsible for coordinating data flow relative to traceability of material through entire supply chain in USA and Mexico
* Focus on customer service and delivering against companys needs to maintain operational and quality excellence.
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Electrical, Software, or Information Systems preferred
* 5 to 10 years of industry specific experience
* Demonstrates leadership and has experience in managing people
* Able to identify and analyze problems, recommending and implementing flexible and creative solutions based on customer needs
* Demonstrated ability to effectively organize and manage multiple tasks as projects, ensuring completion to meet deadlines
* Excellent attention to detail on multiple simultaneous tasks
* Excellent verbal presentation skills. Excellent written communications skills and ability to document system procedures in an understandable format
* Excellent Visio, MS project, spreadsheet, power point and word-processing skills
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Willing to travel for extended periods of time
Preferred Qualifications
* Passport and Visa is a plus
* Bilingual is a plus
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
* Must be able sit and/or stand for long periods of time, and work on a computer for extended periods.
Valid Drivers license in the state employed, must have acceptable driving record, and must have automobile liability insurance (when using a personal vehicle on Company business) OR have the ability to travel
