POSITION PURPOSE
Primary function is to register patients who present for Out-Patient testing, Emergency treatment, and Admission in a professional and courteous manner. Gather demographic and billing information and enter it into the computer accurately.
Population served:
Pediatric (1-12 years)
Adolescent (13-17 years)
Adult (18 years to 69 years)
Geriatric (70 years and older)
Supervised by: Supervisor of Admitting and Director of Admitting
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school graduate, GED or 3 years relevant experience.
Experience: One (1) year of customer service experience dealing with the public.
