Marketing & PACS platform services is one of the critical service hubs. This role is on the Marketing & PACS Hub Operations team which is responsible for liaising with Operating Unit (OU) based counterparts around the globe to aid in change management for both Marketing and Public Affairs, Communications/Sustainability (PACS); managing agency contracting and auditing related to the agencies and supplier partners supporting Marketing and PACS globally; and overall operational support for the entire Marketing & PACS Services team.

Marketing & PACS Hub Operations is seeking a Director, Agency Contracting & Auditing, who will be responsible for leading the identification, evaluation, selection and ongoing monitoring and auditing of current and future agency partners for Platform Services in concert with peers located within the OUs. This position will own and influence agency governance in conjunction with peers across the enterprise including establishing the scorecard/evaluation process, conducting regular retrospectives and reviews, monitoring spend and identifying opportunities for cost savings through consolidation of work.

Specific job responsibilities include:

* Facilitate agency procurement efforts for Platform Services including the RFP process as well as MSA and other contract negotiation and renewals working closely with Procurement and global stakeholders
* Support global agency engagement processes and develop engagement protocols, in line with long range planning and long-term capability roadmap
* Liaise with colleagues in similar roles across the enterprise to enable consistent global standards in ways of working
* Steward enhanced efficiency measures by identifying and mitigating inefficiencies and/or redundancy in our process/approach (i.e., agency fee structures)
* Develop an inclusive process of regular retrospectives and co-creation sessions to identify and solve pain points across the various parts of the network (central teams, OU teams, and/or with agencies) to evolve our agency partnerships
* Define, develop and execute audit routines related to all agency partners in conjunction with peers across the enterprise
* Inform and advise leadership regarding insource/outsource decisions as they relate to the scope of work currently outsourced
* Contribute to the enhancement of a platform that provides agency summary information, score carding, reputation management, ROI, etc. for our global agency roaster (supported by tech) to enable easy agency search and management across the enterprise
* Oversee a small team associated with all activities above including role definition, hiring, coaching/mentoring, etc.

Desired characteristics

* Experience in agency management, with preference for prior agency experience
* Experience in pitch management/procurement
* Deep knowledge of the work of agencies (design, media, social, digital, production etc.)
* Experience working with cross-functional teams and get work done through others/network
* Exceptional relationship management skill and a service mindset
* Effective and accountable leader and people manager, with strength in active listening, change management, collaboration and communication.
* Comfort working across time zones
* Self-motivated and decisive with the ability to adapt to changing and competing demands

* Outstanding organizational and time management skills

Education

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.

Related Experience

10+ years of relevant experience with preference for project management and agency operations
