Role Summary
Reporting to the Director of New Solutions, this role will work collaboratively with our Care Coordination and Enterprise Innovation teams under Cignas Health Services Company, Evernorth. The Senior Advisor will help enable new clinical solutions for customers by pushing forth implementation efforts of applied analytics.
The Senior Advisor will work closely with critical core areas and key matrix partners to understand both business and consumer needs. You will be expected to have the requisite content knowledge related to evaluating program outcomes, statistical modeling techniques and general health service research. You will interface with clinical, pricing, actuarial, reporting, product development, operations, and marketing departments as needed. The ideal candidate for this role will be highly motivated, flexible and embrace change. This role will have a high accountability for success within the new clinical solutions organization.
This position is with Evernorth, a new business within the Cigna Corporation.

Scope of work includes, but is not limited to:
* Identify and prescriptively recommend the right moment to intervene in a care journey to maximize responsiveness to Oncology interventions
* Through advanced modeling recommend the right mix of products, programs, interaction types that support Oncology interventions
* Build models that help us personalize at scale, meaning they fit individuals but are cost effective to administer and maintain
* Determine maximum opportunity potential and likely opportunity to be realized in Oncology condition management
* Build financial risk offering models around Oncology conditions
* Create and delivery executive level communications and stories articulating recommendations coming from analytic insights
Qualifications & Experience Required
* 5+ years healthcare industry experience solving business problems through the application of analytic approaches to Oncology condition management
* Experience in studying patient, clinical, provider behavior
* Experience with the Evernorth Analytics Platform preferred
* Experience with Medicare, Medicaid and commercial healthplans a plus
* Proven ability to work collaboratively in complex matrix organizations and agile teams
* Statistical Analysis Experience and experience with BI/Visualization tools (SQL/Hadoop/Hive/Tableau/SAS/R/Python or other applications as applicable)
* Comprehension of healthcare data (e.g., ICD-9/ICD-10, claims, profiling)
* Demonstrated understanding of health care and delivery system processes
* MUST POSSESS A HIGH DEGREE OF EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE AND ABILITY TO DEAL WITH AMBIGUITY
