Your Opportunity
This role will execute tasks related to enhancing and supporting the Remedy ITSM and CMDB software technology for the enterprise. The Remedy SmartIT and Atrium CMDB is a critical component to the IT Service Management effectiveness and operational performance. This role will be a key developer of enhancements to ITSM modules and forms, Atrium Integrator jobs that support CMDB, as well as supporting the system operationally maintain service levels. This role will be accountable for understanding business requirements in terms of stories following agile delivery methods, soliciting requirements for clarity, and development to meet acceptance criteria.

This individual contributor role must demonstrate an innovative mindset and knowledge of the BMC Remedy platform technology, relevant experience developing enhancements in Remedy ITSM forms and CMDB-related improvements. Candidate must have demonstrated experience and comprehension of programming logic and design, workflow and logic diagrams, SQL and debugging concepts.

* Organizing work tasks from identification and assignment, to execution and implementation
* Recognized SME of the Remedy ITSM and SmartIT product, and motivated by automation and process improvements
* Workflow and logic designs and diagrams, SQL and debugging concepts
* Excellent written and oral presentation skills leading to successful interactions with technical and business audiences
* Soliciting requirements for understanding, collaborating with business requestors to ensure understanding prior to development
* System documentation, runbooks, workflow and procedure documentation
* IT Service Management process knowledge and experience
* Aggressively seeks opportunities for automation
* Provide improvement ideas to development team peers, and lead change towards the improvement of the Remedy and SmartIT system to make the tool easier to use
* Act as the internal specialist for the tools and technologies in place with a full understanding of their capabilities and limitations
* Consult and establish relationships with product teams to align process to technology, stakeholders that represent user base such as ITSM process teams, service desk, end user computing, infrastructure and application teams

What you have

* 3+ years of demonstrated experience in development and support of the BMC Remedy and SmartIT platform, and Atrium CMDB
* Proven technical proficiency and experience of programming logic and design
* IT Service Management process experience and knowledge
* Experience and competency with SDLC and Agile frameworks
* Excellent written and oral presentation skills leading to successful interactions with technical and business audiences
* SQL and debugging experience and concepts
* Builds trusted relationships with colleagues around the firm and across multiple levels of the organization
* Collaborates daily with users, peers, vendor support, external and internal partners
