Charles Schwabs User Experience and Design Team (UX) is part of a larger Digital Services organization leading the firms ongoing digital transformation. Our VP of UX leads a multi-disciplinary group of user researchers, content strategists, and experience designers who practice user-centered design and partner with business and technology colleagues to build best-in-class experiences to help our clients achieve their financial goals. As part of our Content and Enterprise Team within UX, youll focus on expanding our reusable content framework for outbound digital messagingservice emails, text alerts, and mobile app (push) notificationfor retail investors.

What you are good at

* Expand our reusable content framework for outbound digital messagingservice emails, text alerts, and mobile app (push) notifications
* Employ UX best practices across systems, platforms, and channels to create a unified user experience, leading with content-first design
* Create or improve end-to-end workflows, information architecture, navigation, taxonomy, and content hierarchy
* Collaborate effectively with interaction designers, visual designers, product owners, engineers, marketing partners, and legal, risk, and compliance colleagues
* Transform complex concepts into simple, understandable, and conversational copy
* Write crisp, high-quality, on-brand user interface copy for wireframes, prototypes, and financial products and services
* Create and persuasively communicate content planning, and lead content review sessions, with UX and product leaders
* Iterate on content solutions, based on data insights, with the goal of continuous improvement

What you have

* 5+ years as a content strategist and user interface writer with web and mobile experiencepreferably for a financial services, technology, or digital consulting firm
* Portfolio with key content strategy deliverables (e.g., content inventory and audit, competitive analysis, copy deck, content type mapping, brand voice and tone)
* Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication, self-management, and negotiation skills
* Strong, proactive thought leadership and problem-solving capabilities
* Comfortable with substantial responsibility, working directly with our client partners, and capable of managing your project schedules
* Experience working in a collaborative multi-disciplinary team within an iterative process and Agile development methodology
* Effective relationship builder, able to work effectively with various personality types and across various levels of an enterprise
* Expertise in Microsoft Office software and working knowledge of Confluence, JIRA, and industry design tools (Sketch, InVision, Axure, InDesign)
* Advocacy for user experience and content strategy to facilitate agreement on decisions
* Positive and proactive approach to engaging ambiguity and change
* Prefer experience leading content strategy or UX workshops with cross-functional teams
