Job Description:

As a Senior Sales Support Specialist, you will assist others in fully contributing your sales support knowledge. You will hone your skills as a commercial support resource for the district reps and dealers. You will also becomes increasingly familiar with the companys processes, systems and methodologies. You will be a more senior consultant and the supervisor/manager for your direct workers.

Job Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Review request for quotation (RFQ) from dealer for capital projects or factory direct spare parts sales.
* Aid in determining what equipment to quote, create quote Bill of Material (BOM).
* Contact Suppliers domestic and foreign for costs and delivery.
* Create Dealer Net Pricing (DNP) quotation in Microsoft Excel using established quote template.
* Create quotation in SAP and add quote number to quote sheet.
* Determine freight costs and lead times from various global locations to customer sites.
* Check if part number (PN) is in SAP, if not add or extend it to 1100 sales organization.
* Add required information for Material Requirement Planning (MRP) data and change material status.
* Create info record and change material status.
* Maintain source list and change material status.
* Request new or extended part to be costed through Finance@Work.
* Send quote to commercial manager for approval.
* Send quote to dealer or customer.
* Create new project folder in Microsoft Teams and add all current quote information to customer folder.
* Add quote info to established Quote Log in Microsoft Teams.

Sales

* Review instrument of order.
* Assist in creating BOM or items to order.
* Request new part numbers if required.
* Create sales order in SAP.
* Run MRP on each part number to create purchase requisitions in SAP.
* Change purchase requisitions, delivery date, supplier, buyer, price and select supplier.
* Forward purchase requisitions to buyer per supplier.
* Coordinate with suppliers on delivery required.
* Expedite purchase orders for the project.
* Coordinate & expedite with supplier and Cat Transportation on shipping.
* Expedite custom clearance with Cat US Import Compliance.
* Update quote log in Microsoft Teams.
* Create offline invoices for progress payments and attach them to the invoice request at Finance@Work.
* Maintain sales log for Dealer Direct sales and Capital equipment.

Cost Analysis

* Periodic cost analysis of current and past projects.

Warehouse Control

* Coordinate with warehouse to receive in purchase orders for direct shipments to dealers or customers.
* Create deliveries in SAP to send to the warehouse for phantom and normal shipments.
* Weekly maintenance of warehouse personnel expenses log and receive in the invoices.
* Create deliveries for subcontracted purchase orders.

Scheduling

* Master Delivery Schedule (MDS) Maintain weekly master delivery schedule for all current longwall equipment and software orders.
* Provide sales information for Revenue Recognition monthly meetings.

Special Projects

* Review inventory reports for disposition and process consignment sales.
* Attend weekly dealer meetings.
* Any other special projects as required.

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university
* 2+ years of job related experience

Top Candidate will also have:

* Familiarity with the business side of the role
* Excellent analytical and communication skills
* Basic understanding of the product line, dealer organization and customers
