DevOps Engineer, Mid

The Challenge:

Thats why we need you, an experienced DevOps engineer, to help us shorten the time it takes to get critical tools developed and into the hands of warfighters who need them to protect our military and extend the Army's overall capabilities.

As a DevOps engineer on our team, youll use your development experience to streamline our software development life cycle from requirements to monitoring in production. Youll lead efforts to incorporate open source tools, automation, and cloud resources to cut down on tedious, boring tasks and free up the teams developers to do what they do best innovate. Youll implement continuous integration and delivery to limit manual testing and troubleshooting. This is an opportunity to broaden your skillset into areas like automating, monitoring, and applying security at all phases of the software life cycle for plan, develop, build, test, release, deliver, deploy, operate, and monitor. As a technical leader, youll identify new opportunities to build software solutions to help your customers meet their toughest challenges. You Have:

-Experience with Linux systems

-Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Azure

-Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodology

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Nice If You Have:

-Experience with Gitlab, configuration management and monitoring applications and services

-Knowledge of ITIL and ITSM frameworks, security controls, and testing practices

-Secret clearance

-MA or MS degree
