Strategic Human Capital Consultant and Task Lead
Key Role:
Design, implement, and evaluate human capital programs as a consultant to federal government health market clients. Apply functional expertise in human capital areas, including workforce planning, organizational assessment, organization design, HR business process design, program evaluation, training design and development, leadership development, change management, employee communications, succession management, career development, survey research, and human capital strategic planning. Apply strong consultative skills, including designing or executing complex data collection methodologies, performing quantitative and qualitative data analyses, composing well-written, data-driven reports, and preparing briefings for senior-level audiences. Apply knowledge of federal human capital trends and issues. Design and structure human capital projects, manage client relationships, manage project financials, mentor project staff, drive thought leadership, and build future strategic human capital management business.
Basic Qualifications:
* 7+ years of experience with providing strategic human capital or organizational consulting services
* 3+ years of experience leading strategic human capital or organizational consulting services
* Experience in three or more of the following human capital functional areas: workforce planning, organizational assessment, organization design, HR business process design, program evaluation, training design and development, leadership development, change management, employee communications, succession management, career development, survey research, or human capital strategic planning
* Experience with contributing to projects in a fast paced, high intensity, team-oriented environment
* Ability to analyze client issues, determine data collection and data analysis strategies, strategize potential solutions, and prepare client-ready reports
* Ability to obtain a security clearance
* BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:
* 2+ years of experience in government consulting or working for the federal government
* Knowledge of health-focused organizations, including health organizations, consulting to health organizations, and academic training in health/healthcare
* BA or BS degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Behavior, Human Capital Management, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a similar field preferred; MA or MS degree in Strategic Human Capital Management a plus
* Strategic Human Capital Management Certification
