The Boeing Company is seeking an Experienced Technical Data Designer to develop program publication elements for new or fielded major equipment system or multiple sub systems. Position is located at our Saint Louis, MO location.

Position Responsibilities:

* Collects, researches and analyzes source data
* Identifies source data inaccuracies and takes corrective action
* Develops technical publication project plan, budget and baseline schedules
* Estimates the impact of the proposal or changes to the publication elements
* Develops graphics, updates publication elements based on internal/external reviews, source data changes and equipment modifications

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

* 3+ years in experience in military customer's maintenance concepts, processes and support systems
* 3+ years experience electronic/electrical systems or subsystems and components including the requirements, operating principles, design variables, performance, and key interfaces
* Experience with aircraft flight crew operations, flight deck design philosophy, flight deck/pilot interface, and customer requirements
* Experience with flight operation requirements for maintaining flight publications, company procedures, and related records and the ability to comprehend and communicate program related operational requirements

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

* Experience with how the customer flight crews operate aircraft during day to day operations, including typical airline/military flight operations and all normal and non-normal operating procedures and checklists

Typical Education/Experience:

Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Relocation:

This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
