As part of our Silicon Technologies group, together we'll help design and manufacture our next-generation, high-performance, power-efficient processor, system-on-chip (SoC). Youll ensure Apple products and services can seamlessly and efficiently handle the tasks that make them beloved by millions! Joining this group means youll be responsible for crafting and building the technology that fuels Apples devices. Together, you and your team will enable our customers to do all the things they love with their devices. In this hands-on role, you will utilize your experience in CAD to support Product and Test Engineering (PTE), Silicon Validation (SiVal) and DFT teams. You will write and support software and scripts that PTE teams use for automating the ATE Test Program and manage test patterns infrastructure. In addition, you will develop automation and custom infrastructure used by the Silicon Validation teams for their tool chains.

* 5+ years experience in relevant field preferred but not required
* Expertise scripting in PERL, TCL, or Python
* Good social skills, previous customer support is a key
* Experience with supporting revision control systems is desired
* Experience with infrastructure and CI/CD automation tools is a plus
* Knowledge of ATE bringup process and test program management is desired

You will be responsible for: Developing and maintaining existing automation and infrastructure for PTE and test pattern systems used globally across multiple design centers. Developing new SiVal automated flows and methodologies, from specification to deployment. Support and maintain existing SiVal automation and infrastructure across all silicon projects. Working together with other CAD engineers to integrate your solutions in other flows. Utilizing your debugging experience to debug vendor tool problems and interacting with designers to help tackle their problems.
