Pharmacy Technician II
Due to the current COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, this position will require you to work remotely from your home with the flexibility to return to a regular, in-office work environment. As we continue to monitor guidance from CDC and state officials there may be times you would need to report to the office on a monthly or quarterly basis for team meetings or engagement activities.

As a Pharmacy Technician II you will be responsible for educating members on medication as related to prescriptions, advising members of available resources and assistance programs. You will also interpret moderately complex prescriptions. You will guide our customers to a better healthcare experience, working every day to make healthcare easy by the service you provide. Heres what a typical day may look like:
You will enter and validates information on member prescriptions and review member prescriptions in our claims system.
You will place outbound and receive inbound calls to consult and educate members on Medication Therapy Awareness.
You will compile and document accurate outreach to members.
You will verify member information and input data for the pharmacists.
You will educate members on pharmacy-based rules related to prescriptions and medication resources or assistance programs.
You will employ intellectual, interpersonal and technical skills through the utilization of the pharmacy process to assist members in achieving and maintaining maximum health potential.

Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited Institution.
Minimum 2 years of pharmacy experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background
Requires an active, professional license, if required by state law, State Pharmacy Technician Certification or National Certification based on applicable state(s) requirements, to practice as a Pharmacy Technician within the scope of practice in a state or territory of the United States.
Current, unrestricted state Pharmacy Technician License and PTCB Certification is required
Requires strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, problem-solving skills, facilitation skills, and analytical skills.
Prior call center experience strongly preferred.
Ability to work from home with internet access and a quiet and private workspace.
Ability to work any 8-hour shift between the hours of 8:30am - 8:30 pm EST with required nights/weekends and Saturday rotations.
Must be located within two hours of the following city/state: St. Louis, MO; Las Vegas, NV; Winston-Salem, NC; Mason, OH; Midland, GA; (Columbus);
Atlanta, GA; Miami, FL.
