TITLE: Lead Software Developer

DUTIES: PULSE Network LLC seeks Lead Software Developer in Houston, TX to deliver technology solutions that support business goals. Partner with the product owner to understand business requirements, evaluate features, and translate application specifications into workable technical solutions. Maintain application software and systems. Ensure all projects and releases are appropriately tested and risks are mitigated. Oversee and review development activities of team members and contractors. Support technical initiatives and provide input into best practices to team. Promote a risk-aware culture to ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelorsdegree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, or a related field and six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in job offered or related occupation: working with Connex Switching platform and utilities and HP NonStop Tandem applications to support debit card payment processing; developing software using TAL, pTAL, and Pathways; scripting with TACL and ENFORM; working on Connex Environmental database; performing testing in Paragon and Clear2Pay simulators; utilizing FICO Falcon Fraud detection and scoring engine, ISO8583 messaging format, and Enscribe file system; and working with Agile software delivery model.
