VP, Wholesale Credit Lending Risk Data Council - Specialist for Trade Products - Tampa

Key Responsibilities:

* Work with Risk Managers to build an understanding of data quality issues and system enhancements for all loan products (listed below)
* Trade Finance (including contingency and discount products)
* Clearing Services and Overdrafts
* Commercial Cards
* Placements
* Third-Party Exposures
* Card Acquiring / Merchant Services
* Analyze workflow issues associated with trade products to identify system gaps
* Assess impact of all in-flight projects on Risk, review and analyze data exceptions, coordinate defect fixes with technology and sign-off with credit officers
* Review existing data quality issues to build a comprehensive list of workflow issues
* Develop an understanding of all internal CAPs and regulatory MRAs for workflows
* Work with technology to develop a remediation plan
* Build a comprehensive testing strategy for validating changes and enhancements
* Coordinate IA validation and lead communication on IA queries
* Represent risk at the data strategy working sessions and steering committee

Qualifications:

* 7+ year experience in the areas of risk management, project management and technology implementations
* Bachelor's/Master's Degree, with distinguished academic achievement
* Understanding of banking trade products, credit risk systems and concepts
* Understanding of credit workflows i.e. loan booking, credit approval, transaction approval, collateral, documentation, ratings etc
* Excellent data analysis, communication and organization skills
* Ability to work independently to achieve goals outlined by management
* Analytical individual with ability to model data and draw conclusions
* Ability to manage multiple competing priorities with demonstrated experience in executing against tight deadlines and managing issue escalation
* High level of personal integrity, proven dedication to excellence, leadership qualities and a flexible, creative, innovative personality
