Manager, Client Development-Relationship Manager

As a Manager, Client Development Relationship Manager- Auto Partnerships at Capital One, your core objective is to build and sustain lasting relationships with partners in order to effectively manage the partner throughout the life of the engagement, and you also play a pivotal role in onboarding the partner onto the Navigator platforms. As an ambassador for the partner, you will exercise your management, communication, and analytical skills to be the internal voice of the partner, allowing you to escalate issues and remove roadblocks, as well as identify growth opportunities for additional product offerings for the partner. The Relationship Manager is a liaison for the partner, has a deep understanding of partner metrics, and is highly skilled in triaging and coordinating client exchanges and interactions between various internal and external groups in order to capitalize on swift execution, articulate milestones and timelines, track onboarding progress, and manage the overall relationship.

Specific responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

* Engaging from development stage of relationship and continuing throughout the life of the engagement

* Awareness of the partners business strategy, product adoption roadmap, product offerings, and future or ideal state, as well as sufficient judgement to know when to introduce additional products to partners

* Understanding and clearly communicating onboarding timelines and key milestones, as well as articulating a high-level overview of what it will take to get to launched and scaled

* Serve as the primary interface for partners operational leads to build confidence in partner to onboard during sell-in, jointly develop partner onboarding and interface with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of the onboarding plan

* Initiating contract requests and leading contract negotiations; work closely with the internal business leads to finalize contract terms and ensure consistency across agreements. Lead and coordinate with internal teams any launch related activities, such as vendor onboarding questionnaires, technical requirements sessions, marketing collaterals, to name a few; provide options for removing blockers and escalate as appropriate

* Responsible for the day to day management of partners and associated tasks; work with internal teams to generate partner reports; lead key partner meetings and performance reviews

* Develop a deep understanding of partner funnel metrics, ability to translate those metrics into meaningful insights - both to the partner and internally; identify and escalate any issues as necessary with internal teams and/or partners

* Providing partner updates to the Command Center and applicable stakeholders as requested

* Working with the Command Center to provide data to partners and receive data from lenders every month

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelors Degree or military/equivalent experience

* At least 2 years of Process, Project or Relationship Management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

* Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or military experience

* At least 2 years of experience in the Auto Finance Industry

* At least 2 years of Vendor Management or Relationship Management experience
