Director, Product Management

This role will lead a product team focused on evolving the way Capital One consumes their data. The right candidate will have data management experience but will also have a heavy background in Product Management where they can focus on our producer and consumer experiences. We are building the platform that allows our users to more effectively Publish, Manage,Findand Usethe data they need to get their job done. This role will be accountable for the strategy and execution of Capital One's data consumer experience (Finding the data you need and Using it as quickly as possible) in our new cloud based modernized data ecosystem.

We are looking for a Product Leader who is exceptionally imaginative, collaborative, and truly excited about building great products and experiences. The ideal candidate is resourceful, analytical, self-motivated and has great attention to detail. This role is truly an exciting mix of product and data expertise and is critical to Capital Ones broader data initiatives.

What you'll do:

Lead a highly dynamic and multi-disciplinary team to develop and enhance the platform were building to help our associates publish, manage, find and use the data they need for their jobs to be done. You will translate business strategies into user experiences that delight our associates and position our company for substantial growth. Collaborating with your design, tech and business partners, youll need to be exceptional at developing and nurturing relationships needed to support Capital Ones data imperatives and broader business objectives.

What were looking for:

Creative problem solver who lives at the intersection of Human, Business and Technology dimensions. Deep fluency and experience in at least two dimensions and understanding of the third.

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelors Degree or military experience

* At least 6 years of product management experience

* At least 4 years of experience managing people

* At least 3 years of Agile Product Management experience

* At least 3 years of experience leading cross-functional product teams

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience in Data Products, Data Management and Data Lakes

* MBA or Masters degree

* Experience leading financial services or technology company

* Fluency in human-centered product discovery methods such as design thinking and service design
