Summary
The Mobile KPIs Analyst main responsibility will be to assist the Mobile Team get reporting set up to support the mobile activity. Additionally, the analyst will be task to drive the strategy in order to maximize those KPIs.
The analyst will work with the Acquisition, Product and CBM mobile team to set proper reporting and provide visibility into our operations. The analyst will also work directly with the head of mobile to create some executive dashboard to be distributed throughout the leadership. This role requires some strong analytical skills, a good sense of organization and some judgement to adapt this role deliveries and align it overall witch the mobile business strategy.
From supporting current operations through reporting, to create reporting post development, new features, new offers, changes in the customer experience and helping refining the strategy; this role will play a key role on the mobile activity and strategy.
Responsibilities & Duties
* Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
* Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed: (Functional requirements (Business Requirements Document), Use Cases, Report mockup, Test results).
* Drive and challenge business units on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans. Assists business in determining reporting needs based on business requirements
* Serves as the conduit between the customer community (internal and external customers) and the software development team through which requirements flow. Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.
* Proactively analyzes business data utilizing SQL, providing assessments of trends, identifying and explaining variances from goals.
* Develop and execute project plans, in the process of coordinating project activities.
* Provide daily status of issues and test progress throughout the JIRA Log to KOMS Leads, BI leads & Project Manager
Qualifications
Technical/Functional Competencies
* 5 or more years of experience performing Business Analysis or relevant work experience.
* Ability to develop action plan, business requirements, templates from firsthand analysis communicating with business users and developers to ensure the prescribed finished product meets expectations in purpose, functionality, and timelines.
* Ability to work independently with high attention to detail and focused on the timely completion of deliverables assigned.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills: comfortable and effective in small group and large group presentations. Compelling and accurate writing skills for presentations and email communication. Experience documenting business requirements and using project planning tools.
* Ability to manage and resolve conflict and drive / achieve business results
* Collaborative and self-starter. Proven ability to work cross functionally and individually with periodic supervision to achieve overall project objectives.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills working with a high degree of ambiguity.
* Self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail; ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
* Solid understanding and application of Project Management methodologies.
* Ability to be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work
* Power User of Excel, Power Pivot and Visio a plus.
* Basic understanding of various reporting methods and query tools and SQL to query databases
* Basic understanding of technical project documentation (BRD, FRD) and developing reports (Excel, SharePoint)
* Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills, including mapping of business need or issue to development of application requirements or procedural initiatives.
* Strong understanding of reporting and database environments, processes, and associated applications. Preferably MicroStrategy
* Well-developed knowledge of operational systems, processes and budgeting/forecasting concepts and activities.
* Proven ability to ensure effective forms of documentation essential for support of overall technical and user needs.
