Position Description:
The Senior Account Consultant - Urology manages the sales efforts for BOTOX for overactive bladder and Rapaflo for benign prostatic hyperplasia within a sales territory, calling primarily on Urologists and Uro-Gynecologists in a Buy and Bill arena. The Senior Account Consultant will cultivate existing and new customer sales, primarily in the private practice and community based clinic sectors, for BOTOX use for overactive bladder and Rapaflo for benign prostatic hyperplasia.
The Senior Account Consultant must possess varied skill sets in this hybrid buy and bill/surgical and office based Rx sales role to sell Botox and Rapaflo. Selling Botox will involve selling techniques to address specific customer educational, scientific, and clinical and reimbursement needs. 
The Senior Account Consultant will be assigned semester sales quotas to be met or exceeded. The Senior Account Consultant identifies and develops new business opportunities within assigned territory. Must successfully complete all company training classesdevelop and maintains a current knowledge base of Company and competitive products, disease states and sales techniques. Adheres to assigned operating budget and accounts for all funds, materials and equipment. Travels throughout assigned territory and meets call requirements to promote company products within approved label in a comprehensive, fair, balanced and ethical manner that is consistent with legal and regulatory guidelines.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Selling Skills: 
Selling, sales tracking and achievement. Promotes and sells product for approved indications to all customer types in established territory, including physicians, mid-levels, nurses, office managers, and other relevant medical staff. Uses approved promotional aids consistently to help increase sales volume. Meets requirements of 8 calls/day and follows the START Report of assigned calls by decile. Sufficiently and effectively moves customers through the sales pipeline. Demonstrates ability to close a sale. Sells in a manner compliant with Allergans Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and Healthcare Compliance policy.
Customer relationship management: 
Cultivates strong business relationships with all existing and new customer types, including doctors, mid-levels, nurses, and office managers. Customizes selling approach to different customer types and to physicians at various stages in the sales pipeline. Builds strong rapport and trust with customers, by demonstrating expertise, knowledge, and service-attitude. Effectively maintains information about all customers
Collaboration: 
Develops and effectively manages comprehensive business plan for territory development and growth. Works in partnership with other company teams 
(e.g., reimbursement, other sales teams) to achieve product and business objectives. Demonstrates strong business and financial acumen. Conveys customer feedback on the product to the company.
Training and Education: 
Displays, cultivates, and maintains high level of product, procedural, anatomical and disease state knowledge. Arranges and coordinates procedural training for customers. Provides product and technical assistance for customers, including product preparation and procedural consultation for physicians and staff as appropriate. Attends and/or supports customer education activities and trade shows as necessary. Uses promotional aids as appropriate to help increase sales volume. Provides required focus across all promoted products.

Requirements:
  * Minimum three years of Pharmaceutical, Urology , buy & bill, or medical device sales experience
  * Demonstrated sales achievement
  * Excellent interpersonal skills

  * Product and therapeutic experience: 
    * Injectable sales 
    * Buy & bill type reimbursement environment or other comparable reimbursement experience preferred
