AECOM has an immediate opening for a Water Resources Engineer/Project Manager in our Tampa office. The successful candidate will have a proven history of delivering completed, successful water resource projects, growing relationships with existing and new clients, and leading project teams and staff.

With more than 3,200 Water professionals in all major markets throughout the United States and Canada, AECOMs Water business line leverages nearly a century of local, national and international project experience to provide todays municipalities, industries and governments with cost-effective solutions to their Water challenges. We deliver our servicesfrom environmental planning studies to detailed design, construction management, and operations and maintenanceto a wide range of public and private sector clients. Our public sector work encompasses everything from small rural communities, to large urban centers, to agencies with regional responsibilities. Our private sector work includes assignments for multiple commercial/industrial sectors, including oil and gas, chemicals, power, food and beverage, manufacturing and pharmaceuticals.https://aecom.com/markets/water/
Typical duties include:
* Successful Client Relationship Management
* Preparation of proposals and statements of qualifications
* Leading/performing technical execution of:
* Hydraulic, hydrologic and pollutant loading analyses and modeling
* Design of stormwater conveyance and treatment systems
* Capital improvement planning and design for stormwater rehabilitation, maintenance and retrofit projects
* Watershed and drainage basin evaluation and design
* Construction inspection and Administration of public infrastructure projects
* Technical reports and studies
* State and Federal permitting
* Preparation of contract documents including technical specifications and construction drawings
* Engineer of Record
Minimum Requirements
* Bachelors degree in Civil, Water Resources, or Environmental Engineering
* Minimum 8 years experience
* Stormwater modeling experience in programs such as AdICPR, ASAD, EPA-SWMM, HEC-RAS, and Hydroflow
* Licensed Professional Engineer
* Demonstrated Project Management experience with multidisciplinary teams and monitoring of work for junior engineers
* Proven Client Relationship Management with municipal utility clients
Preferred Qualifications
* 10+ years experience as a consulting engineer in the stormwater/water resources
* Licensed Professional Engineer in Florida, or the ability to obtain through reciprocity within six months of employment.
* Experience in the Tampa Bay area
* AutoCAD Civil 3D and ArcGIS skills
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to prepare written reports and permit applications
* Good analytical skills to interpret data and modeling results
