Job Description
As an Analytics Sr. Manager, reporting to SVP of Digital Enterprise Analytics, this individual will establish a new vertical within the Digital ERA team focused on web analytics and tagging. The leader of the forthcoming Digital Web Analytics & Tagging (DWAT) team will sit at the intersection of our partners in the Digital Organization (digital product managers who are shaping the future of our platforms and interfaces for our four customer segments consumer, small business, corporate and employee), our Technology partners (specifically our Adobe Analytics and Tealium teams who implement tags), and our Reporting & Analytics teams (responsible for assessing performance of our platforms and interfaces across our segments). The DWAT team will be responsible for the following:
* Establishing an agile process that allows for visibility, communication and action amidst the Digital, Technology and Reporting teams
* Understanding customer features and guide Digital product owners in thinking through the reporting that will be needed and then translate into necessary tagging implications across our digital platforms and interfaces
* Ensuring a consistent tagging approach that enables desired reporting
* Validating tagging and usability within both Adobe Analytics UI as well as raw clickstream data during feature releases as well as any necessary regression testing
* Building reports within Adobe Analytics to enable the Digital Organization with initial insights surrounding platform or interface performance
* Liaisoning with the Reporting teams to ensure smooth delivery of ongoing/customer level reporting, analytics and insights
* Spearheading an Enterprise-wide Adobe Analytics user group focused on enablement of the tool throughout the organization
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding and experience with implementation and usage of web analytics and tagging tools primarily Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Ensighten, Telium and others. He or she will need to come in and quickly understand U.S. Banks tagging approach to date, identify areas of opportunity, establish any new norms needed and then scale across minimally the 10 work-horse interfaces used by U.S. Bank customers today. By the end of 2021, team DWAT will have enabled an MVP approach to web analytics and the corresponding customer level reporting across the 10 work-horse interfaces.
This individual will also possess a strong willingness to learn and teach and will aid in leading change across a matrixed organization. Recruiting, hiring, onboarding and activating a team of ~5 analysts will be an early challenge, as well as prioritizing support across Interfaces as the team is built out. In addition, project and team management, process creation, relationship-building will all be key deliverables in the first 90 days.

Basic Qualifications
* Master's degree, or equivalent work experience
* Eight to 10 years of experience in web analytics, demonstrating a progressive increase in responsibility and scope
* Hands-on knowledge of digital data including Adobe Analytics and raw clickstream
* Experience in identifying KPIs, developing reports and dashboards, and data visualization
* Adept in connecting requirements to technology, uncovering new uses of technology and defining product evaluation criteria
* Skilled in translating business questions into analytics requirements
* Demonstrated leadership skills including presenting findings to Executive Vice Presidents and higher
* Demonstrated project management and organization skills
* Managerial expertise leading analysts in web analytics and tagging, nurturing future leaders in this space
* Ability to work and thrive in collaborative work environment as well as independently to drive results
* Impeccable attention to detail, while being comfortable with ambiguity
* Demonstrated ability to influence change across a complex organization
Preferred Skills/Experience
* Direct experience with analytics technologies such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Ensighten, Telium, Adobe Audience Manager, Adobe Target, Acxiom, Tableau, Hadoop, R
* Experience in financial services with knowledge of products, customers, transaction and interaction data, including source systems
* Knowledge of data quality practices
