Primary Responsibilities:

* Consolidate budget, forecasting, and monthly reporting from 20+ unique businesses and geographies
* Support leadership via a comprehensive monthly reporting package, quarterly business review and earnings release support, and ad hoc reporting
* Provide visibility, support decision-making, and help drive results to maximize resources and create efficiencies
* Advance data integrity through reconciliations, advanced analytics, and pressure testing
* Report financial performance, analyze results against the financial plan, and communicate results and variance drivers to facilitate understanding
* Improve how we do things by leveraging tools and technology and carrying out process improvement activities

Required Qualifications

* Healthcare experience
* Progressive financial work experience
* 5+ or more years of relevant financial analysis or accounting experience
* Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
* Intermediate skills in MS Excel, MS Office product suite, and other technology tools
* Hyperion Essbase and PeopleSoft experience
* You will be asked to perform this role in an office setting or other company location
* Employees are required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive VoiceResponse (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group approved symptom screener prior to entering the work site each day, in order to keep our work sites safe. Employees must comply with any state and local masking orders. In addition, when in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are expected to wear a mask in areas where physical distancing cannot be attained

Preferred Qualifications

* Value-based care experience
* Report financial performance, analyze results
* Ability to work in a matrix environment while positively influencing other functional areas
* Project management or process improvement experience
* Advanced Excel modeling
* CMS experience, preferably Medicare Advantage
