The Registered Nurse is responsible for ensuring the well-being of patients and for providing a positive, supportive environment while working in conjunction with physicians, advanced practice clinicians, front office and clinical staff.

The schedule for this full-time position is three 12 hour shifts per week from 8am-8pm. The center is open seven days a week.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Assess, screen, triage and perform treatment ordered for patients
* Perform medical treatment as ordered by provider or established MedExpress standing orders
* Prepare and assist provider with dispensing prescribed medications (in states where applicable)
* Assists the provider with examinations, procedures and other duties
* Oversee and coordinate the daily patient care flow
* Assist patients as needed with walking, transfer, specimen collection, exam preparation, etc.
* Complete occupational health testing including such services as urine drug screens, breath alcohol testing, hair testing and physicals
* Complete patient referrals and patient callbacks daily
* Proper, concise and complete EMR documentation and/or paper based documentation for all assessments and procedures
* Other duties as assigned such as new models of care and new types of procedures, etc.

Required Qualifications:

* Active, unrestricted RN license in state of Maryland
* Associate's degree or higher
* 2+ years dedicated nursing experience
* Maintain BLS/CPR and CME/CEUs as applicable for licensure
* Experience with medication administration as well as venipuncture and lab specimen collection
* You will be provisioned with appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and are required to perform this role with patients and members on site, as this is an essential function of this role
* Employees are required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive VoiceResponse (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group approved symptom screener prior to entering the work site each day, in order to keep our work sites safe. Employees must comply with any state and local masking orders. In addition, when in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are expected to wear a mask in areas where physical distancing cannot be attained

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience in urgent care, ER or critical care setting
* EMR experience
