Responsibilities:

Efficiently plan and execute truck load, LTL, intermodal and international shipments of vehicles to customers, branches, distributors, and dealers in support of Textron Specialized Vehicles logistics, financial and customer service goals.

Use Transportation Management System (TMS) and Warehouse Management System (WMS) to maximize efficient use of outbound conveyances.

Work closely with operations customers in scheduling to minimize detention charges and dry-run costs incurred by the company.

Construct thorough international documentation regarding hazardous material, commercial invoicing and all other international declarations.

Optimize the use of all available resources by ensuring containers are cubed efficiently and by coordinating available backhauls of used vehicles.

Manage overall freight forwarder, carrier and customs broker relationships and secure appropriate number of carriers to support shipment volume.

Ensure on-time and complete deliveries and communicate activity to internal and external customers.

Coordinate schedules, crating requirements, and shipment preparation with Logistics warehouse and shipping personnel.

Provide detailed daily updates to all internal stakeholders as required.
