Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for executing product analysis, maintaining product line reporting, supporting product development initiatives, and leading departmental operations. Reports directly to the VP of Internet and Phone Products and will act as a Lead for the team. Essential understanding of company-wide business processes and ensuring team is organized and prepared for all process, reporting, budgetary, and business planning requests. Possesses ability to be thorough and meticulous, with an eye for detail, and must apply logic and knowledge of the business to identify and correct inaccuracies in reports and presentations. Capacity to lead cross-functional projects related to business process, product lifecycle management, and product development.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assemble, examine, refine, validate, document and maintain complex data for several lines of business

Create and maintain discrete trending dashboards for utilization by the working team and the executive team

Responsible for assignments, completing work efforts for team

Model and forecast business trends based on historical data sets and planned product changes or feature launches.

Exhibit proficiency with third party reporting system

Perform ad hoc data analysis as needed

Manage capital initiative and department expense budgets, including forecasts, funding requests, PO creation, invoice tracking, cost allocation, and reporting as necessary

Track and report on department initiatives and maintain initiative roadmap and status reports

Lead business process design and documentation

May lead cross-functional projects related to process improvement, product lifecycle management, or product development

May generate requirements documentation, with minimal direction, through facilitated work sessions or individual interviews with sponsors and stakeholders and manage changes to those requirements.

Perform other duties as required

Ability to analyze and interpret data and create recommendations
Ability to define key performance indicators / metrics
Ability to listen to multiple points of view and synthesize against goals for recommendations
Ability to quickly become subject matter expert on multiple databases and reporting tools
Ability to document, prepare and present data-driven presentations
Ability to plan, prioritize and organize effectively and independently
Ability to manage and assign multiple projects and tasks
Ability to communicate and contribute cross-functionally, and within a matrix environment
Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner
Ability to show judgment and initiative and to accomplish job duties
Strong business sense and sense of urgency to achieve business results
Highly motivated and talented with an interest in technology, a love for great products, and strong business acumen
Excellent analytical ability is a must
Expertise in Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Education
Bachelors degree in Science, Engineering, Math or related field or equivalent experience

Related Work Experience
5+ years of Business Analysis or Project Management Experience
1-3 years of Related industry experience (Cable, Telecommunications,
Software/Online Services)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Product management and/or product development experience
Project management certification or equivalent project management experience
Ability to communicate with all levels of management and company personnel
Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure
Ability to lead cross-functional teams in order to achieve business goals and results

Time Warner Cable (TWC) was an American cable television company. Before it was purchased by Charter Communications on May 18, 2016, it was ranked the second largest cable company in the United States by revenue behind only Comcast, operating in 29 states. Its corporate headquarters were located in the Time Warner Center in Midtown Manhattan, New York City, with other corporate offices in Stamford, Connecticut; Charlotte, North Carolina; and Herndon, Virginia. From 1971 to 1981, Time Warner Cable, as Warner Cable, owned Dimension Pictures.

It was controlled by Warner Communications, then by Time Warner. That company spun off the cable operations in March 2009 as part of a larger restructuring. From 2009 to 2016, Time Warner Cable was an entirely independent company, continuing to use the Time Warner name under license from its former parent (including the "Road Runner" name for its Internet service, now Spectrum Internet).

In 2014, the company was the subject of a proposed purchase by Comcast Corporation, valued at $45.2 billion; however, following opposition to the deal by various groups, along with plans by the U.S. government to try to block the merger, Comcast called off the deal in April 2015. On May 26, 2015, Charter Communications announced that it would acquire Time Warner Cable for $78.7 billion, along with Bright House Networks in a separate $10.1 billion deal, pending regulatory approval.

The purchase was completed on May 18, 2016; Charter had continued to do business as Time Warner Cable in its former markets, but has now re-branded these operations under the Spectrum brand in most markets (even Charter launched this brand in 2014), though it will continue to use the roadrunner.com email addresses and adelphia.net email addresses to new customers.
