GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Transport materials to and from their designated locations according to the types of material and predetermined locations for specific materials

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Complete forklift inspection paperwork before using forklift.
* Deliver components to compressor assembly lines.
* Deliver tank heads to assembly lines.
* Complete SAP transactions for shipping and receiving as necessary.
* Transport finished product from assembly lines to designated shipping area.
* Operate tugger to transport compressor tanks in welding area.
* Transport raw heads and baskets to & from the DC and welding area.
* Operate crane to unload steel bundles or other small components received.
* Distribute and deliver components to machines on the machine shop floor.
* Unload incoming product & load finished product to and from trucks.
* Receive incoming material-Raw, MRO, Maintenance, Engineering, Office, etc. and disperse appropriately.
* Drive Powered Industrial Truck as needed.
* Understands and follows the Jackson sites environmental policy and the environmental impacts associated with their work activities.
* Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

* Must have strong communication and organizational skills
* Must pass Stanley Black & Decker Powered Industrial Truck certification
* Must be able to relate to and interact with all levels of the organization
* Must have proper documentation skills
* Must be able to work from a general assignment with little or no directions from others
* Must be goal oriented and self-motivated with high energy levels and the ability to multi-task
* Must be reliable and flexible with hours worked including weekends and overtime
* Must be maintain 5S standards
* Basic knowledge of SAP is a plus
* EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school, plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area; E.G. data processing, clerical/administrative, equipment operation, etc, plus 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
