Position Overview
Navistar is building a new, Industry 4.0 manufacturing facility in San Antonio, Texas to develop leading-edge commercial vehicle solutions to meet the needs of today's - and tomorrow's - customers. This new facility will have the flexibility to build Class 6-8 vehicles, allowing Navistar to add capacity to support anticipated industry growth while growing our market share gains, optimizing our supplier network and improving quality.
We are seeking a Senior Lead End User Support Specialist who will manage customer relationships at the facility and provide liaison functions to other IT support groups to implement IT projects/resolve issues etc.
* Provide facility-specific IT project planning and mgmt. reporting functions. Interface with Customer to insure expectations are met and benefits are achieved.
* Monitor key aspects of IT service for the facility and provide feedback to support IT groups
* Provide Auditor response to information queries and audit points.
* Ensure there is sufficient hardware, licensing, staffing to support the facility's daily production initiatives
* Provide local trouble shooting (PCs/Servers/Networks/Phones etc.) and interface with the customer and support teams to resolve issues
* Maintain stable systems and assess business risk associated with system change.
* Validate suitability for implementation.
* Maintain inventory and configuration documentation as requested by other groups.
* Promote the conformance to IT Standards when discussing business proposals with the customer.
* Conduct satisfaction surveys to monitor customer's general perception of IT performance.
* Monitor performance of systems relating to customer's expectations as defined in the system's Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
* Develop and manage the IT expense and capital budgets for remote facilities. Utilize input requirements from all other IT organizations to support enterprise solutions.
* Develop & manage remote site personnel development (skills, education, experience).
* Participate in Enterprise Change Management processes.
Basic Requirements
* Bachelor's degree
* At least 8 years of experience providing IT technical services and support using network remote access
* 1 year of lead experience
OR
* Master's degree
* At least 6 years of experience providing IT technical services and support using network remote access
* 1 year of lead experience
OR
* At least 10 years of experience providing IT technical services and support using network remote access
* 1 year of lead experience
Additional Requirements
* Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
