The position will have responsibility for product engineering for new product development and production of manufacturing.

The position requires someone with experience in semiconductor IC development, IC manufacturing, fabrication, test, and packaging. Driving SOW for supply chain engagement in conjunction with BusDev and assisting in MSA negotiation.

Establishing development and manufacturing plans pulling together Test, Reliability and Foundry components, work with System, Design and Validation on Sampling plan definition and delivery, creation of procedures for material handing through the manufacturing flow.

Candidate should have project leadership experience to manage external vendors, drive cross functional teams and drive sub-project as part of larger development programs.

Candidate should have excellent knowledge of IC development including test development, DFM, IC characterization, failure analysis, qualification, debug, yield analysis, process controls, statistics, and fabless supply chain management.

The Candidate should also be knowledge in DFT, silicon fabrication process, package design and development, IC assembly, product Q&RA, and basic transistor theory.

It is beneficial to have background in IC design and IC verification.

The candidate would benefit from background in various product market area such as high-performance compute, CPUs, hyperscale designs.

Basic Qualifications

7+ years' experience in product engineering.

7+ years' experience in Developing ICs (pre-silicon, first silicon bring-up, new product introduction).

5+ years' experience in silicon product engineering as an individual contributor.

2+ years' experience in compute/CPU, and/or large scale and/or high power SoCs/chips on advanced process nodes (experience with ARM or x86 architectures an asset).

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in managing supply chain, vendors / partners, and IC production; SOWs.

Good understanding of bring-up/debug, characterization, manufacturing test, DFT and DFM techniques; experience with modern PHYs (i.e., PAM4, HBM, PCIE gen5, DDRx) an asset.

Experience with SLT Development and deployment.

Experience with QA and Rel Testing including some in CMOS device and product rel and of both EFA and PFA.

Experience with RMA Procedures and Management

Strong probability and statistics background including DOE's.

Good software skills, especially in scripting languages.

Strong presentation and communication skills.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
