Job Description

Are you a passionate problem solver, equally comfortable thinking outside the box while successfully delivering within present constraints? Do you love working with bleeding-edge technology and finding a way to meet objectives even in unsupported scenarios? Are you driven by integrity and obsessed with process efficiency? We have a rare opportunity to join our in-house eDiscovery team as an eDiscovery Service Engineer, focusing on the technical and infrastructural aspects of our in-house processes. You'll have close contact with the product teams developing features designed to revolutionize corporate eDiscovery processes, and get to work with new datatypes in an ever-evolving and diverse technical environment.

We need someone who enthusiastically leans into new challenges, approaching each with a fresh, learn-it-all perspective to ensure our mission-critical processes evolve in step with our company. Active eDiscovery and digital forensics knowledge is a plus, but a strong background in Test and proven SQL/PowerShell skills are even more valuable for this role. Action-oriented creativity is an absolute must. If that sounds like you, we can't wait to meet you!

* Maintain and develop custom solutions for endpoint data collection, striking the essential balance between security, privacy, and fidelity
* Backend development, support, and management of our custodian evidence repositories
* Maintain and develop automation scripts per business requirements defined by our eDiscovery PMs
* Rigorous testing and QA; know and address the edges of each solution, and independently devise the fix
* Azure infrastructure management
* A minimum of five years of professional experience in IT; eDiscovery, digital forensics, or Azure security experience is preferred
* Deep experience with process automation and scripting languages; Azure, PowerShell and SQL proficiency is required

Additional Desired Qualifications:

* Degree in Computer Science or similar field
* Demonstrated ability to devise reliable solutions within the limitations of the available technology in your toolset
* Software development proficiency with at least one OOP language - e.g., C, C++, Java
* Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills
* Ability to work independently on multiple concurrent projects with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
