POSITION SUMMARY:
It is the primary responsibility of the Poker Attendant to make fills on poker tables and assist players in the purchasing of chips. All duties are to be performed in accordance with federal, state, local laws, regulations, and ordinances, as well as department and Company policies, practices, and procedures.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Understand the procedures and rules of all poker games and tournaments offered
* Provide game and tournament information
* Make exchanges correctly when exchanging money or chips
* Provide accuracy and efficiency to guests at all times
* Maintain the game list and seat players in games requested
* Adhere to appropriate gaming regulations, policies and procedures
* Perform other job-related duties as requested
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
* General knowledge of mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
* Working knowledge of Poker games
* Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
* Ability to work under pressure
* Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
* Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detail
* Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
* Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
PREFERRED:
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Six (6) months cash handling experience
* Experience in a similar resort setting
