The PAC-3 Missile Production Operations manager is an exciting fast paced leadership role that is responsible for the integration of production operations strategies, development of transition plans, and ultimately the successful execution of PAC-3 Missile production across multiple Lockheed Martin manufacturing facilities.
This position requires a process oriented manager with the full suite of production oriented competencies and experience from proposal generation through production execution. This leader also needs to have demonstrated an ability to lead and motivate in a highly complex multi-functional production program or manufacturing environment.
In addition to the daily responsibilities this leader will be expected to create a culture that allows their team to produce their best results, maintain a culture of accountability, and integrate a strategy that supports the vision of our Production Operations Organization and Program Management team.
Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

This individual will lead, motivate, support, and facilitate self-directed work teams and interact with internal and external customers to support time-sensitive results in a complex manufacturing environment.
Develop enduring relationships and production strategies across the LM Sites and our Program team that is focused on a culture designed to support the manufacturing requirements of today, and required agility for the future
Manage the overall quality, cost, and schedule requirement for PAC3 Missile Production
Creation of multi-site execution plans and strategies that meet Program requirements, from the proposal phase through contract closeout
Drive generation and completion of risk and opportunities across PAC 3 Missile platform for Production Operations
Support the recruitment, staffing, placement, and oversight of personnel as required
Properly plan and work closely with the Production Capacity Manager for the manufacturing of all tooling and support equipment to facilitate the required ramp rate execution
Basic Qualifications:
Ability to obtain security clearance.
Possess appropriate business acumen to successfully present compelling cases to a variety of customers (Project Office, Program Office and Senior Management)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated skills in team building and leading through influence as the position requires cross functional interactions on a daily basis
A history of exceptional performance within Operations Management or related disciplines supporting Production and Developmental Programs
The candidate will be functionally aligned with the Production Operations organization and must have the basic skills required of a production operations manager
Desired Skills:
Have experience directly leading and motivating large and diverse teams
Production Site or Manufacturing experience
Experience managing, contributing to, and executing proposals
Creation of Statements of Work (SOWs)
Have experience in multiple functional disciplines: Production, IPT, manufacturing, global supply chain, quality and engineering-based
Bestow a true bias towards results oriented behavior and is truly energized by change
A clear understanding of the production processes employed within Lockheed Martin
Have experience with PAC-3 products as well as other business units and programs
Advanced Engineering/Technical or Business related degree
