This requisition is for a Senior Quality professional supporting the Training & Logistics Solutions (TLS) line of business for Lockheed Martin (LM) Rotary & Mission Systems (RMS) company at Luke AFB, AZ. This position will interact directly with both Program Manager and Quality Program Manager (QPM) and functionally report to the Training Support Solutions (TSS) Program Quality Engineering Manager. Since this is an intermediate-level position, the individual must be able to work independently, have experience in successfully communicating with all levels of leadership (both with LM and the Government customer) and demonstrate a broad range of highly developed Quality Assurance skills. In addition to Quality Assurance, this individual will also be responsible for basic IT functions on the program.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Assist in the identification of root causes and associated corrective actions, evaluate process/product performance (via internal audit), lead continuous improvement efforts, and participate/interface with the engineering community and customer (as the need arises) on program activities to assure processes and products are compliant to contractual requirements
Provide QA support for program peer reviews, regression testing, integration and test, acceptance test procedures (ATPs) and functional sell-off (when needed)
Assist with monthly inputs/metrics on the quality health of the program to the QPM
Assist with Basis of Estimate (BOE) inputs for Quality work scope on ECPs and ongoing proposal efforts
Lead/assist in quality efforts as an engaged member of the programs monthly System Management Board (SMB), Risk/Opportunity Management Board (ROMB) and semi-annual Program Management Review (PMR)
Support security/information assurance activities, as the need arises
Serve as program IT lead, which includes set-up of new computers when issued to staff, coordinate with Luke AFB government and IT specialists, and other general IT infrastructure support

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree (technical preferred) or equivalent work experience
Requires a Secret Clearance with background investigation in the last 6 years
Experience working with a military customer
Knowledge of SW/HW engineering practices, logistics, IT infrastructure and Information Assurance principles, configuration management, test and evaluation
Proven project and self-management skills/experience
Comfortable reviewing engineering drawings and process diagrams
Demonstrated leadership potential
Understanding of Lean/Six Sigma (LSS) principles
Experience performing a wide range of Root Cause Analysis methodologies
Excellent communication/written skills
Product and Process Auditor experience
Able to attain program access
Desired Skills:
Possess an LSS Green Belt or Black Belt
Prior experience leading a technical team (engineering or QA) on complex projects
Prior experience supporting BOE generation for ECPs and proposals for new work
Experience in USAF flight simulation maintenance, support, and operations
