Global Category Manager - Travel & Expense Management
The Global procurement Organization is driving a transformation agenda, driving increased levels of collaboration and a more strategic global approach to category management, enabling simplification and standardization of procurement category and process
This role has Global & NA Category Management responsibilities for Kimberly-Clarks purchase in Travel & Expense Management plus additional Management Services responsibilities. The total spend is approx. $120M and will report directly to Global Procurement Director for Professional Services.
The Procurement Consultant - Professional Services:
* Develops and leads the deployment of global strategies.
* Collaborates effectively with regional teams to understand BU needs
* Establishes strong connections with stakeholders, engaging them in the procurement process
* Ensures that K-C is leveraging its global volume and market position.
* Is in charge of Supplier relationship management, building partnerships with strategic suppliers.

Responsibilities;
Strategic Category Management
* Develops Global Category Strategy, incorporating regional inputs and business needs and ensuring alignment with stakeholders and regional procurement teams
* Leads category agenda globally, influencing and guiding regional teams.
* Fully understand and leverage market dynamics and benchmarks.
* Drive complexity reduction and promote standardization of categories and processes.
* Develop supplier partnerships, which will bring business opportunities and innovation for K-C.
* Lead/support strategy deployment and change management activities
Leadership & Relationship Management
* Ability to work with, and influence at different levels of the K-C organization.
* Excellent senior level/executive stakeholder relationship management
* Connects with stakeholders and keeps them engaged.
* Provides visibility of global risk and opportunities.
Demand and Process Management
* Engages category stakeholders as needed to understand demand.
* Ability to prioritize and create processes in a high volume / high impact spend area
* Promotes best practices sharing across regions.
Negotiation Gold Standard
* Understanding of market dynamics and benchmarking.
* Excellent negotiation capabilities.
* Ability to work with complex categories and with multiples stakeholders.

* Qualifications:
* Bachelors degree required.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in Procurement or Broader Supply Chain. (3+ years in Professional Services Category preferred)
* Experience working in a complex global / diverse environment.
* Extensive experience in stakeholder management.
* Self-motivated and assertive with internal and external contacts.
* Ability to influence with and without authority.
* Ability to reconcile diverse business strategies and challenges.
* Skilled negotiator / results oriented.
